The Crow’s Nest is a room on the third floor of the clubhouse at Augusta National, directly below the famous square cupola.
The primary purpose of the Crow’s Nest is to provide accommodations for amateur players that are competing in The Masters.
Getting to stay in the historic Crow’s Nest is just one of the many perks qualifying amateurs at The Masters get to enjoy.
For some lucky amateurs, a stay in the Crow’s Nest culminates in a visit to Butler Cabin to be presented with the Silver Cup, the award given to the low amateur at The Masters.

Crow’s Nest Accommodations
- Accommodations for up to five players
- Only one room that is 30’ x 40’
- There are four rooms separated by partitions, 3 with single beds and 1 room has two beds.
- One full shared bathroom
- Common area has a game table, couch, chairs, and TV
- The carpet is green
- The walls are adorned with books and pictures of golf and past Masters
- Access is through a steep, narrow staircase between the Champions Locker Room and Dining Room
- All towels, robes, glasses, and such have the Masters logo on them

Only amateur players are allowed to stay in the Crow’s Nest.
The Masters is proud of its tradition of always inviting amateurs to compete and reserves the accommodations in the Crow’s Nest solely for amateur golfers.

Introduced in 2021, the Crow’s Nest is a wheat ale beer that is served at The Masters.
